__________

I feel like I have really connected with my class--and I now know some very strong, tough, trailer-skirting men, and some wonderful cooks, and many kind, caring and wise Christians. I really did not expect the support that our class showed to Debbie and Mary.  This wasn't just a one day makeover, because  I am developing a relationship with this family, and I know others are also. A.W. in Edmond

The fellowship, growing together in Christ and getting to know everyone on a more intimate level was more than I expected.  Thanks to God, the experience has become a sweet and precious memory to me.  P.F. in Edmond

PowerUP was something I needed, I was seeking ways to study better, grow more, and to just simply get off that plateau I was on and start climbing the mountain again and I think that Power Up has truly helped me move in that direction.  I truly believe that Power Up has challenged me to be the man that God wants me to be.  The daily devotions have been awesome and I wish that everyone would take the time to read the passages and write down their thoughts because that has been powerful. The daily devotions were great and should be done everyday by everyone involved.  If people would take part in every part of Power Up, their faith would be challenged in new and exciting ways.  I know that it has challenged me because I had come to a point in my faith that I began to believe that I was doing enough just by showing up to church and tithing.  The scary thing to me is that I was probably doing more than most believers.

For our class mission project, it was great to see people come together and touch the life of a local family that really needed some assistance. K.S. in Edmond

__________

It is incredible how God works! I was excited about our class mission project for PowerUP, but I short-changed what I thought God would do. If I would have listed everything I wanted to happen in helping the family we adopted, it would have paled in comparison to how God worked it out. I would not have thought we would have 100% participation from every family in our class, I would not have guessed that everyone would have gotten along so well, I would not have thought that Debbie and Mary would be so gracious, I would not have given our class credit in having fun while working hard, I would have short-changed the monetary giving from our class to purchase materials - the list goes on. Bottom line is that God reminded me that He has a better plan and a better way than I give Him credit for. D.A. in Edmond

__________

Before the class mission project, when our class talked about what we were going to do, I thought that our project was to fix-up a trailer for a family in need. Now, I realize that our project was to embrace a sweet family with the love of Christ. The trailer was just a way to do it. R.M. in Edmond
